A Little Different
Harajuku style is peak individuality. Its a style that's celebrated by millions for it's cute aesthetic and don't give a !#%@ attitude. This piece in particular is designed in a subdivision of harajuku called "menhera". Menhera more or less translates into mental healther, and is a push back against fashion excuslive to "elegant" things. Menhera is a representation of people suffering from neurodivergence or physical affilctions, and it bold and cute and celebrates medicine and bandages and pain. Where fashion has failed to represent those who are hurting, menhera puts it in your face, not to brag, but to show you that people shouldn't be a afraid of them and that they're beautiful in their unique way.
